On teamviewer I saw that @ekay was opening PlayFromAnywhere module and trying to import files in playlist from there.
Drag from anywhere means dragging from file explorer like from desktop or d:/ drive.
Aha! No wonder. Even the attached image seems to suggest the same. Good catch

Certain file types can be read and played back while still recording. Some of the slowmo instant replay threads on the old forum showed this. I believe .ts and .mxf files work as long as the editing program supports it and renders to a new file.
We should gather all the slow motion and instant replay links and info in the following thread.
A new thread on implementing edit while ingest with a proper client for that should probably have its own thread as that isn’t exactly simple video playout. The tech should be fairly similar to the instant replay stuff just with a different client and an output file.
For normal recording after file duaration, it will terminate current record and start next file. In schedule recording It will record according to Start time and duration given in table.
And yes next recording is automatic.
As @zcybercomputing mentioned, .ts and .mxf file support playback while recording.

EDIT - Been trying all night but I cant get the video feed to appear in the right hand window. I have made the consumer in focus and selected IN next to it, but the video will not display. It is still displaying in the normal caspercg output screen that comes with the server. Any help appreciated!
May be you did not selected the the video mode you are using. The default is PAL there.
Yes, I have selected Pal. Is the video suppose to be showing in the caspar cg playout window as well?
The same casparcg screen consumer will fit in the client software. It is for move with client software and to prevent hiding behind.
Hi, How do you do that. Drop and drag doesn’t work, and the video_plyout app doesn’t pick up that server window when I start it.
I am using a 4k screen - will that make a difference?

In the template module there is a “next step” button. It sends the command like “cg 1-96 next 96”
This triggers a “continue” in the template on the specified layer. This is used to control animations that has multiple discreet steps.
It is not meant for next template to play.
Hi, I have installed windows 10 and I have the problem that I do not have video output from the decklink studio 2 card (audio if there is one).
I installed the latest drivers for the Geforce 210 card. In Windows 7 everything worked perfectly with the same configuration.
Has someone else happened to this?

In effect, its indication works.
Although every time I close and reopen the server and the client must do the same operation this can be avoided ?.
In addition, the audio of the Decklink output is echoed as if it were played twice with a small delay one with respect to the other.
I have reviewed the configuration of the Decklink and I think it is fine.

You should use a configuration file that has decklink card configured for output. For this copy the config file from “C:\casparcg\mydata\Caspar_Cg_Configurations\01_One channel Player” folder and paste it into server folder.
For the echoed problem choose another device than decklink for system audio.
