Windows Server 2012/2016

Hi,

Does CasparCG run on Windows Server 2012 or 2016?

I wouldn’t recommend it as it lacks proper driver support for many graphic cards. There are some drivers for it but OpenGL support is limited.

Many thanks. So if we have HP server hardware - perhaps Linux is the way to go rather than Windows?

as long as there are proper drivers it doesn’t really matter if its server hardware. So you could also use Win 10 as well.
