What value refers to the SEEK parameter?

I am having difficult to use seek option, in the wiki understand that the value of this field is the number of the frame that I want to go. I used a video for test http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/gtv-videos-bucket/sample/BigBuckBunny.mp4 , with the ffprobe returns me that the video contains 14315 frames, but when I put a value near this in seek it goes a little beyond half of the video and not to the end, and even if I put The total number of frames it never leaps into the end. What exactly is the value that should be placed in Seek?

For seeking to work well you need to have a file that is encoded with only I-frames - otherwise seeking will go to the closest I-frame beyond the frame you requested.

What exactly is an I-frame? Is there any way to calculate the total I-frame of any video?

Let me Google that for you: I-Frame Wikipedia

Thanks, Google Proxy
