Usage of NDI Discovery Servers with CasparCG NDI Output

Hi all, is there any documentation or guides on usage of NDI Discovery Servers with CasparCG NDI Outputs? I have tried using the .json file created in the SDK directory within a .ndi folder as shown on the NDI documentation however this has not worked.

Any pointers would be amazing.

I can usually receive NDI with any app, that supports this. Just run Caspar with an NDI channel enabled and after a few seconds you see it listed at the receiver. - Or did I misinterpreted your question completely?

Hi thank you for your reply. The receiver is not in the same broadcast domain as Casper and we have many NDI sources, so we are using the discovery service which basically acts as a registry for all NDI senders: Discovery Server | Docs and Guides

I have added this functionality in PR 1702: Add NDI Discovery Server capability by mattg66 · Pull Request #1702 · CasparCG/server · GitHub

Hopefully it will be merged into the next release!
