Some clips are starting slow

Hello,

I am using the latest stable CasparCG build, but I have some issues. I am using videoclips that I play and then use the SEEK command to skip to a certain frame.

All videoclips have been comverted using Adobe Media Encoder in HEVC, with 25fps frame rate. Most videoclips start immediately when I run the PLAY command, but some videoclips have a huge lag/delay of 2-3 seconds.

I guess it could be a codec problem or a problem with the fact that I am converting video’s to 25 fps. Is there a way to solve this problem? What could be the issue?

Found out why: I want to do exact frame seeking, which is not supported with MP4. I have converted the filed to MPG and now it works fine and quickly. :slight_smile:
