Server Frontend error // System.IndexOutOfRangeException

Hello,

i tried to install caspar on a second pc. Yes i know, the server version 2.0.6 is not the newest one but i want that the 2 systems are on same software. Unfortunalety i am not able to run the caspar server on this new pc.

It seems to be an error from the frontend … if i start the server, everything is working.
But how can i use the frontend? The other PC has the same software installed (C++. NEt, …) but on this, it is working fine.

Any idea? (i tested the newest server and frontend - there i got the same message)

Thank you!

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I remember this being an error that came up somehow. If I remember right, you simply had to click to ignore and it went on without problems.

Thank you for the answer … but if i click ignore, it closes the Server. Now i am working currently only with the server (without frontend) … it’s ok but there is another problem.

If i play a video on my 2 outputs at the BM duo card, the videos begin jerking if i play a flash template (at the same time) on the decklink 4k extreme card. After the template, it is running fine again.

Win 7, i7 (4Ghz), GTX 1050Ti, 1x BM Duo 2, 1x Decklink 4k Extrem, SSD

On our second (slower system) it works fine.

… the crazy thing is: if i open the server diagnostic window … it is working fine and the video never got jerking. :exploding_head:

There should also be an option to continue.

Have checked for avaliable PCIe lanes? If I remeber right the 4K Extreme uses 4 lanes and the Duo 2 another 4. So if your system does not provide 8 lanes you will run into problems.

With server 2.2. it is always jerking.

Yes, double checked the PCIe lanes … the system has more than enought (16, 8, 8 with 3 cards). :frowning:
