Hello, I am working at a TV station.
Most broadcasting equipment used in TV production uses matrox cards.
But this time, I decided to introduce casparcg and decklink.
The hardware configuration is as follows
Supermicro X11DAI, Xeon 4210, Decklink studio, Decklink duo 2, Moxa 422, Qlogic HBA, Nvidia 2060, SSD without H/W raid
There is two types of configuration. 5 input multichannel recorder or 3 in 2 output Playback server.
Workers familiar with the VTR needed 2 outs because they wanted text to be overlaid on the video output.
Playback utilize casparcg, and Recorder utilize ffmpeg.
Multichannel recorders using ffmpeg have been using well without errors for over 3 years.
This is the first time to introduce casparcg as playback in TV production.
