Quadro vs GTX

Hi,

Are there major performance or stability improvements when using a Quadro card over a gaming card?

Can’t find a real concluding answer on the forum.

this is a good link below. My brother works for a big special effects company and they use Quadro cards since its better at handling huge frame sizes for the videos they work on. My assumption would be that as casparcg is a video server the drivers for the quadro cards would handle the video better than a gamer card which is designed with drivers that games are coded to take full advantage of. Note how the 2nd link talks about video editing and also precision.
