Possible to have a grid only on the screen consumer?

Hi,
I have a following question: Is it possible to add a grid only to a screen consumer?
For example: I have 8 layers that are all fullscreen. And I just want to check if the layer 1 is already playing under a layer 5.
So just an overview of all layers of one channel.

The grid command operates on the channel. So a screen consumer can not operate independently. You would need it to give it it‘s own channel.
