Noob TC 200 Question

I was testing out graphics and I was having issues with some using the alpha on HDMI. I saw that some users added support for the TC 200.
Can I just change the config file and have it work with the current version or do I have to use a compiler or something to make use of the .cpp files used in this topic(https://github.com/CasparCG/server/pull/1178/files#diff-5d52cf92410e7b29148c66d66fec3ace)?
