Not sure how well this is known, but with NDI Tools 4.5 the installer has Adobe plugins. You can use the Studio Monitor to record an NDI stream from CasparCG, and it makes quicktimes that are ideal for Adobe.
NDI is saved with Newtek SpeedHQ-codec. With Premiere Pro you are able to edit growing SpeedHQ-files and play out as NDIsource straight from the timeline. Avid MediaComposer there should be support for SpeedHQ (haven’t tested) and DaVinci Resolve does not support SpeedHQ. CasparCG is saved in the flavor SpeedHQ7
