With a 1080Ti GPU, each NDI producer I add at 1080i 5997 results in a total video RAM usage increase of roughly 15 - 20% per source (or about 1.5GB to 2GB of video memory per source). Which means I’m not able to add very many NDI sources at all.
I would really love to know what the ballpark video RAM usage is for the Decklink producer per 1080i 5997 source. I don’t have a Decklink on hand right this moment to test this out myself. I’m trying to figure out if it’s roughly the same as an NDI producer or different, to know whether or not I can bring in more sources via SDI vs NDI.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
