Hi all I’m new to the world of Casper CG, so my apologies if my questions are simple. I’m still getting up to speed.
I’ve just downloaded the CasperCG Bitc countdown timer as an .exe file, and I have two questions.
First. The instructions say to change the options before lunch, but there’s no config file. What is the best way to do this?
And the second is I get player empty when I run it. Currently, I’m guessing this might be related to my first issue. I’m running casper-bitc from the same dir as the server.
looking at the source code i think i under stand the config file. i will have to set these then compile the .exe file. looking at the options i believe there the same as my server so question two is still active im guessing im missing something that’s why its showing player empty.
The caspacg.config file is read when you start CasparCG server. So no need to compile anything. Most of us here (including me) habe never touched any source code, we just use a precompiled exe.
Hi, this is not Casper CG itself, but a countdown timer add-on that I found in the post below. I did try to ask this question there. This was made by @Julusian
( github link GitHub - GuildTV/ccg-bitc ) This outputs to an external display. i have the display working, however im unable to get it to show the countdown i just get “ empty player “. im currently checking the osc ports in case they have changed, as I’m using CasperCG server 2.4.3 a version above what was listed in the post.
