CasparCG with Vmix NDI

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone has experienced this before.

I’m currently looking into linking up a Caspar client to our vmix unit via NDI.
I’ve successfully completed this with 3 of our units running caspar and Vmix following these steps.

We have another 2 units however which vmix takes the NDI signal in but doesn’t give the transparency in the graphics required to over lay a camera signal like the other 3 units.
Each of the units are running different graphics cards but I wouldn’t have thought that would stop the NDI giving transparency when Vmix takes in the NDI signal.

Does anyone have any thoughts what could be causing that?

Note- Later I found that server 2.07 also works good.

Server 2.07 not working.
But 2.1 beta 2 works well.
Turn off cleartype in window font setting

I cant get working NDI on CasparCG

I try with 2.0.7, 2.1.0 beta 2 and 2.2.0 beta7 and not works any

# How to get NDI output to work in CasparCG

1. Install [`NewTek Network Video Send.exe`](http://new.tk/NetworkSendRedist)

3. The AirSend Updater has a bug, and will not properly copy the x64 version of the DLL to the correct place. So, you'll need to manually copy `C:\Program Files\NewTek\NewTek NDI AirSend Updater\Processing.AirSend.x64.dll` to `C:\Windows\System32\`, overwriting the existing file.
4. Restart your PC.
5. Configure the CasparCG Server to use a Newtek iVGA output. Even though it says iVGA, it will actually be outputting NDI thanks to the updated AirSend DLLs.
    - You can do this manually by adding a `<newtek-ivga />` consumer to your `casparcg.config`, or you can do it via the third-party [CasparCG Frontend](http://forum.casparcg.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3643&p=24953) GUI program.

I copied the “Processing.AirSend.x64”, “Processing.AirSend.x86” files directly to the root folder of CasparCG.

I also want to use ND i with my Caspar, but I didn‘t found the Air Send Updater at newtek site…

All the time, I click the download button, the page will be updated, but no download !

Has someone the actual location or the download-file ?

Thank you for the fast response. I‘ll give 2.3 a try. My main issue is currently, that I use the Caspar-NDI-installation guide at Github and there is needed to install Newtek Air Send Updater.exe, but the link seems to be broken and at Newtek site, the download button leads to … nothing but the same site again…

When I use Server 2.3, are there the same NDI files needed ? (By the way, I use server 2.0.7).

Edit: yippiiee it works. The trick was, to copy the two dlls (see screenshot above) to caspar folder. So the github article needs to be updated …
