CasparCG Frontend Error (0x80004005) After Windows 10 Update

Hello Everyone,

After a Windows 10 Update we have a problem getting CasparCG to run. We always use the 1) Server, then we start 2) Frontend and at last we open 3) Client.
The server starts well, but after opening Frontend we get an error and the server shuts down… Frontend is Offline… The error:

We tried to change things in the casparcg.config and in the Frontend program, but nothing seems to work.

Does anyone recongize this program and can please help us out?

Is the currently active user an Administrator? Seems like access to a file is denied.

Hi Didikunz, we got one user on this pc so I think it has to be the administrator and in the Windows settings it says Adminstrator Account.

I tried your link, but still getting the same error after trying all the options on that website…

That’s bad. Try to run it as Administrator.

Tried to run all of the 3 programs (server, frontend, client) we start up to make CasparCG work as administrator, but still getting the same error.

We copied a Caspar setup of an other pc. Now it worked. We inspected what was different than our setup.
I think the problem was that Frontend.exe wasn’t in the same map as the server… I downloaded it again from the Caspar website, extracted Server and Frontend in to the same folder and it connected immediatly.
