We have a CasparCG server running for about 3 years 24/24h without troubles. Of course we reboot the whole Windows regularly (about once a month)
We are running with Decklink duo, on a Windows 10 pro (HP workstation from 2023), Intel core xeon W-2223 3,6Ghtz, 64Go RAM and GeForce 1080 Ti. Media files are located on a SMB volume and commands are sent by Companion. And we’re mostly playing Sony MXF XDCAM interlaced 50mbits files and html templates.
By now, we didn’t experienced any issues with the 2.4.2 version
But, during last weeks, we experienced some strange issues. We produced a show on evening and on the next morning, there were no sound outputing on SDI. Relaunched the server and it worked fine again. My colleague told me, there was also a kind of lag during playing a clip last week.
I tried to update our decklinck to last firmware, and using the 2.4.3 stable version, without success.
My last option is to format the PC and starting from scratch.
Before this, is there anybody, who experienced a similar issue ?
