Hello friends

Have any tried using this Blackmagic Design DeckLink Quad 2 8-Channel 3G-SDI Capture & Playback Card with CASPAR CG?

any issues? any experience please share

Yes, sure, it works. You get either 8 Independent outputs, 4 pairs of fill / key, 8 inputs or a combination of it. Important is, that the card really get 8 PCIe lanes exclusively, other-ways it does not work ok.

What yo mean under “that the card really get 8 PCIe lanes exclusively” it needs some special kind of MotherBoard?
or
there would not be accessible any other PCIe slot? with this card?

There is a maximum amount of PCIe lanes, thst a CPU supports. You need 16 for the GPU and 8 for the Decklink. Then some USB controller etc. uses some lanes. So you need to carefully configure the PC that unnecessary stuff doesn’t take up lanes.
