Audio x Reference

Good morning everyone!!!

I’m having an issue with my CasparCG that happens when I lose the reference signal from my Decklink for a long time. What happens is that the audio becomes completely inaudible. I understand this might be a normal problem to occur, but what I’d like to know is if there’s any command I can use in CasparCG to get the audio back to normal.

Even when the DeckLink reference gets locked again, the error persists.

Right now, the only way to fix it is by closing and reopening CasparCG.

I’ve already tried clear all, stop 1-1 channel, but nothing works — only restarting CasparCG fixes it.

Is there any command I could try to solve this issue?

Thank you all for your time.

I don’t know of any solution beside not loosing the reference signal (why does that happen?).

So, besides losing the reference, I also lose the audio.
We are troubleshooting because my reference signal is dropping.
We are using Tri-level sync, and we are now going to run tests with black burst.

Do you think one has an advantage over the other? Which would be more suitable for working with Caspar?

Thank you for your time.

Black burst is normally ok. Why do you loose the sync? What device does generate the sync signal? These devices are usually working very reliably.

We use Tektronix TG700 TV Signal Generator Platform, it is attached to Epson Toyocom Rb-2110C Rubidium Frequency Standard. There are some D/As in our facilities.
