# How to retrieve Media and Templates file names using C#

Hi,  
How do I retrieve information from the server using C#? I’m working on a client and I want to get the Media file names, Template and the Media folder path to string array.

Hi  
use the query commands for this purpose:

depending on the version of caspar, you have to make sure that the scanner.exe is running.
