Are we able to update the PPA build with the appropriate settings to work around this issue? This seems to be a deal breaker issue for many wanting to run casparcg in a stable manner on linux.
I have opened pull request 1821 opened against the master branch that has a temporary patch to fix this issue. My test machines running Ubuntu 24.04 and xubuntu 26.04 have been running rock solid since then (even though I still have to optimize some stuff to run the channel count I need on those servers).
No CEF changes are required for the new patched version.
The malloc patch just got merged on master so master branch builds should not have this issue now even if using a cef150000 compatible system cef package so the no sysroot packages are no longer required for linux
