# CasparCG Client Not responding!

Hello ,

Sometimes when i try to open a project in casparcg and i try to replace some elements (videos) , the application stop working and responding i need to click on end process and restart the client to make it work

there is the messages i got in the logs when this problem happen :

You still run CasparCG Version 2.0.6? Would you mind trying with a more recent version? Do you need Flash?

Thank you for the feedback .

Yes we are using the CasparCG server v 2.0.6 and client v 2.0.7 , i will try a recent version and comeback to you with the results , do the recent versions of Server have a GUI interface like the 2.0.6 or do you i need to make the config file manually ?

im new and i dont have any idea about flash can you explain to me ?

No, you need to do it by hand. But you probably don’t change that often, do you?

If you do not have any idea about that you don’t need it, I guess. Do you have graphic templates, or only play videos?

Yes i can do it i have no problem to change the config manually

Yes i only read videos ( .mov and .mp4) , no Flash templates

I noticed that the client crash when i try to some .mov Alpha videos on a project maybe there is something wrong with them , when i generate some projects they always work fine but one project keep crashing the client .

It crashes the client? You posted a log of the server, so I don’t understand, what that has to do with a client crash. The client does not much beside sending commands to CasparCG Server. So it is XXL weird, when it crashes.

I will install another versions on client and server and see if this problem will be fixed

Do you have any recommendation of versions that are tested and working fine ?
